Burnt River Off-Road Vehicle Facility - 2009
First I would like to thank all our Burnt River
members for a great 2008 season. We appreciate your patience and support
these past few years, Burnt River Off-Road Vehicle Facility is stronger then
ever because of their members support. Thank you
We struggled a little last year with
weather, dozer breaking down, Rob breaking his leg and the woodchip deal
falling through. We managed to get nothing accomplished last year.
Burnt River did manage to get the
Rally X zoning approved through the winter months of 2008. This mean, this
year 2009 will be different. We’ll order 6000L of fuel in January, come
April-May 2009 we will be screening more material. We will be building a
2kms RallyX Course, topping the main mxtrack, making the 50cc mxtrack wider
and building a second mxtrack for schooling, members and public. We are
planning to have the second mxtrack and rallyX course to be ready for mid
summer.
Burnt River Off-Road Vehicle Facility has a
full 2009 schedule with 1 Rally X, 1 National CMA harescramble, 2 CMRC
Provincial ATV events, 1 Ontario Amatuer Enduro event, 3 LDR events, and 7 NEW Ontario Motocross Club (OMXC) events.
Please check schedule before heading out to Burnt River.
